European Media Award with Prize money of 2,000 Euro
Now in its second year, Berliner Energieagentur and eu.ESCO present the European Energy Service Media Award. Journalists in the European Union, who contribute, through their work, to the development and better understanding of energy services such as Energy Performance Contracting are invited to take part in this competition.
The European Association of Energy Service Companies (eu.ESCO) awards the best media contribution with a prize money of 2,000 Euro. Until May 31st 2011, applications are received by Berliner Energieagentur, the initiator of this competition.
The award aims at showing the increasing importance of private Energy Service Companies (ESCO) in reaching climate protection and energy efficiency targets in Europe. The performance of print, online, radio and television journalists who take an active part in illustration of energy services to the large public and specialized audience are honoured with this award.
A high-ranking jury of media professionals and energy service experts will select the best contribution. The awards ceremony will take place within the scope of a high level event in Brussels in September 2011.
